PoliticsNY & amNY Metro have named Mower’s President and Chief Executive Officer Stephanie Crockett to a list of Power Players — the most influential public officials, business executives, and community leaders who are shaping the future of the city and the state. The inaugural Power Players in PR & Lobbying list spotlights the leaders of New York’s top PR and lobbying firms.

With offices in Syracuse, Buffalo, Rochester, New York City and Albany, Mower possesses a deep understanding of New York State’s media and political landscape. The agency’s capabilities span all areas of public relations and public affairs including media relations, crisis communications, media training, reputation management, event planning, community engagement and stakeholder outreach.

Stephanie assumed the CEO position in January 2023 from Founder and Executive Chairman Eric Mower, distinguishing the agency as a female-led, 100% employee-owned business. Stephanie heads Mower’s Energy & Sustainability specialty and has initiated integrated marketing for clients including National Grid, Turning Stone Resort Casino, FirstEnergy, Exelon, Avangrid, LG Electronics U.S.A., Bausch & Lomb, Crouse Health, Community Bank and the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority.

A lifelong Central New York resident, Stephanie’s leadership and service has attracted numerous other accolades, including Distinguished Sales & Marketing Award, Syracuse 40 Under 40, Women in Business Award, and the prestigious Central New York Sales and Marketing Executives Crystal Ball Award. Stephanie was also one of several Mower employees honored in this year’s City & State 2023 Political PR Power 50 Rankings for New York State.
