Syracuse, NY – Mower’s Stephanie Crockett has been appointed to the board of Visit Syracuse. Board members for the Syracuse Convention & Visitors Bureau, which was created to strengthen positive awareness of the City of Syracuse and Onondaga County, are appointed by invitation only.
“I’m honored to join the Visit Syracuse team,” said Crockett. “Their passion and excitement for the region is so important to bring people to our many attractions, and I’m looking forward to helping promote our great city.”
Established in 1919, Visit Syracuse is the oldest convention and visitors bureau in New York state. The CVB plays a vital role in Onondaga County’s economic development strategy through a focus on growing the area’s tourism industry.
Is addition to her work with Visit Syracuse, Crockett currently serves as senior vice president and managing director for Mower—a marketing, advertising and public relations agency headquartered in Syracuse, N.Y. She is also vice-chair of the board of directors for the United Way of Central New York and on the boards of CenterState CEO and the Landmark Theatre.
