Creating a Global Hub of Robotics

Untitled design 13

Mower client MassRobotics started as a conceptual idea by a group of area roboticists (right in our Boston office conference room!) to grow the regional robotics community and develop talent and the startups they create. In the five years since its launch, MassRobotics has become the intellectual home for the Massachusetts robotics ecosystem, and physical home for the events and community gatherings that bring the robotics, automation and connected devices communities together. This shared workspace for startups, and the large companies that need to engage with these startups, is now the center of attention for the innovation community, investors and the global robotics community.

Almost seven years ago, MassRobotics engaged Mower to develop the organization’s rallying cry, brand identity, and strategic public relations and integrated marketing program to support this compelling concept. In February 2017, MassRobotics realized its dream – opening its physical workspace in Boston, dedicated space to host programming for STEM students, event space for the robotics community, and lab space. The Mower team launched the space with a large-scale event that included the mayor of Boston, industry influencers, sponsors, partners and media.

Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh (who, as the former mayor of Boston, was instrumental in helping launch MassRobotics), joined MassRobotics to celebrate its fifth anniversary. With a packed house back at a live event and a powerful Five-Year Impact Report, MassRobotics showed how it has truly become a global hub of robotics, with partners, visitors and startups from around the world collaborating with the nonprofit to push robotics deeper across all industries.

The Mower team is excited and proud to have shared this journey with MassRobotics, and looks forward to years of continued collaboration. Our agency’s work in robotics extends to warehouse robotics, AMRs, drones, telepresence and security robots, and others, working with companies like Amazon Robotics, Ava Robotics, Vecna Robotics, Cleo Robotics, Urbx, and

Congratulations, MassRobotics. You are the hub of robotics.
