Almost a decade ago, Mower client MassRobotics came to life in Mower’s Boston office conference room, starting as an idea by a group of area roboticists to grow the regional robotics community, develop talent and grow the startups they create. MassRobotics engaged Mower to develop the organization’s rallying cry and brand identity, and from its inception has leaned on the agency to provide counsel for strategic public relations and integrated marketing programs.

MassRobotics has since become a thriving intellectual and innovation hub for robotics globally, and a physical home for the events and gatherings that bring this community together.

MassRobotics again celebrated one of the world’s largest gatherings of robots and robotics with its robot block party. Every September, dozens of companies, universities and student robotics teams gather as part of the RoboBoston festival to showcase cutting-edge robotics and technology in a series of professional and family-oriented STEM events.

Mower lends its creative and public relations expertise to drum up excitement, attendance and awareness of the growing robotics industry. This year’s block party marked one of the most successful and well-attended MassRobotics events to date, which included a robotics and AI career fair, inaugural Robot Sidewalk Parade and even a visit from Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll.

Mower secured and designed an advertisement on the marquee outside the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, an 80-foot-tall multiscreen LED display with a viewership of more than 100,000 pedestrians and motorists.

The agency spearheads the pre-event outreach to media, event guides and calendar listings, helping generate buzz through coverage in places like The Boston Globe, BostInno, Time Out Boston and Boston.com. Mower has helped arrange interviews with MassRobotics executives and serves as a liaison to local media and industry trades.

The Mower team knows robotics. The agency’s work in this industry extends to warehouse robotics, AMRs, drones, telepresence and security robots, and more, working with companies like Amazon Robotics, Ava Robotics, Vecna Robotics, Cleo Robotics, Urbx and Robots.jobs.

Mower’s longstanding partnership with MassRobotics allows the agency greater immersion in the world of tech and innovation and, most importantly, to have a helping hand in driving growth and prestige for both the Massachusetts and global robotics ecosystems.
