The Mower team, representing all levels and specialties of the company, has completed the 4A’s Workplace Enlightenment Certification program, which is designed to move agencies toward the highest standards of equity and inclusion.
Over 120 hours were invested by the agency’s Fierce Friends, who studied six key areas: race/ethnicity, gender, LGBTQIA+, age, faith, and people with disabilities. The program explored, among many topics, how to recognize and respond to the impact of privilege in the workplace, how to recognize and remove barriers to inclusion, and how to proactively increase opportunities for diverse perspectives and participation across the agency.
