CenterState CEO Names Mower Business of the Year


CenterState CEO has named Mower one of its 2023 Businesses of the Year, a prestigious honor recognizing the agency’s business success and role in strengthening the Central New York region.

For many years, Mower has contributed to the success of Central New York through successful pro bono partnerships, local organization and board involvement, charity work and employee community service hours. The agency provides more than 1,350 hours of pro bono professional services annually, and employees spend more than 2,000 hours in service to our communities each year as board and committee members.

With a large business presence in Syracuse, Mower has participated in and sponsored a long list of events and programs throughout 2022 to provide immersive support for the local community, including the United Way of Central New York 100th Anniversary Gala, Syracuse Stage and Redhouse Arts Center production sponsorships, an Everson Museum of Art social, Downtown Committee of Syracuse meetings, the Crouse Health Foundation gala, the NAACP- Syracuse Onondaga County 43rd Annual Freedom Fund Award Dinner, the InterFaith Works of CNY Annual Leadership Award Dinner, and local fundraisers for the American Red Cross and American Heart Association.

In addition to a growing client roster, unprecedented financial success and the establishment of an employee stock ownership plan, in the last year Mower was named Midsize Agency of the Year by the Association of National Advertisers, listed among PRWeek’s Best Places to Work and PRNews’ Agency Elite Top 100, included by Chief Marketer among 200 businesses in the 2023 CM200 list, and ranked on City & State’s Political PR Power 50 for a second year in a row.

Mower has been selected by CenterState CEO in the “More Than 50 Employees” category from a highly competitive pool of nominations and was honored at the organization’s Annual Meeting on April 26th.
