Consumers have experienced rising costs on everything from gas to groceries, putting stress on people from all walks of life. With winter heating prices projected to be about 50% more than the previous year, National Fuel turned to Mower to help reassure customers that help is available during these hard times.
We recognized that those in arrears and those at risk of falling into arrears didn’t just want encouragement—they needed solutions. With programs and resources already in place for those
behind on their bills, messaging across TV, OOH, print, radio, digital and social drove customers
to a landing page to see if they qualify.
Winter heating season is consistently a time when customers need some extra help. In a year with
unprecedented heating costs, this campaign delivered. The National Fuel payment assistance site
visits increased to 4.3% from 2.9% YOY, surpassing a benchmark of 1.64%, while online “apply now” interactions increased over 65% in Pennsylvania. As they say, a little help goes a long way.
