EMA’s Chris Steenstra Judges BMA Chicago’s 2012 Tower Awards

Chris Steenstra, managing partner at Eric Mower + Associates and co-leader of EMA Group B2B, has been appointed to the judging panel for the 2012 Business Marketing Association (BMA) Chicago Tower Awards. Along with 10 other judges, Steenstra is tasked with determining the best business-to-business marketing campaigns from the past year. Winners will be recognized at a ceremony in Chicago on Sept. 18.

The Tower Awards are open to all national marketers and producers of b-to-b communications. Work may be submitted in 38 categories, including social media/new media, mobile marketing, animation/motion graphics and experiential marketing. Each entry will be judged on its contribution to overall brand, product or service identity; user-friendliness; effectiveness; and creativity.

Earlier this year, Steenstra judged the BMA Milwaukee Bell Awards. She currently serves on the national BMA board.

At EMA, Steenstra serves as managing partner of the agency’s Syracuse office, responsible for business development, staffing, and financial management. In addition to co-leading EMA Group B2B, she is part of EMA’s Contractor Insight team. She has worked with clients including LENOX, Sun Chemical, KI and Kodak. Steenstra’s honors include multiple BMA B2 Awards; multiple In-Awe Awards from the Medical Marketing Association; Women in Business Award and 40 Under 40 Award, both from the Central New York Business Journal; and she is a graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse.
