Clarke / Eric Mower and Associates (Clarke / EMA), a marketing communications agency with offices throughout the eastern United States, recently welcomed EMA Partner Bob Hite to its Sarasota office as the director of integrated communications.
Hite will deploy his 30-plus years of experience in traditional and interactive marketing to create, plan and implement client programs that combine the power of “new media” with marketing communication services, including advertising, direct marketing, sales promotion and public relations. He has collaborated with regional, national and international clients such as Kodak, Motorola, Carrier Corporation, Welch Allyn and Primrose Schools.
“We’re thrilled that Bob has joined Clarke / EMA’s leadership team,” says Bill Pierson, partner at Clarke / EMA. “His extensive experience developing and implementing integrated communications solutions will be incredibly valuable for our clients.”
Hite, who has been with EMA for 28 years, relocates from EMA’s Syracuse, N.Y. office, where he was the director of e-business solutions. Sarasota’s business potential and warm weather attracted him to the agency’s Florida office.
Hite is settling into the Florida lifestyle and recently joined Sarasota Tomorrow, a partnership of business, neighborhood, civic, environmental and government organizations working to enhance Greater Sarasota’s job climate, protect the environment and maintain the community’s quality of life.
A graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in advertising design, Hite began his career as a graphic designer in Syracuse. The father of two was also an adjunct professor at Cazenovia College in Syracuse, N.Y., where he taught advertising design and portfolio preparation.
