Eric Mower + Associates has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Public Relations by PR News. The annual competition honors the best agencies and organizations in the industry whose culture, benefits, and career opportunities enable employees to thrive and grow. EMA will be recognized at a Nov. 29 luncheon at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
Agencies and organizations were required to submit a comprehensive application outlining the past year’s initiatives and accomplishments. Entries were judged by a panel of PR executives and PR News editors.
EMA implemented several new initiatives this past year to fuel agency and staff growth, including a new strategic planning and performance measurement system; EMA Connect, the agency’s mentoring program; EMA Insight, the agency's research, strategy, planning and analytics group; two specialty practice groups, Contractors and New Moms; and INTERNation, an intern blog.
This is the third national award that EMA has won this year for being a great place to work in the communications industry. EMA was named the 5th Best Place to Work in Marketing by Advertising Age. EMA was also named an Agency of the Year in the 2012 Bulldog Stars of PR Awards by Bulldog Reporter, earning a silver award in the midsize agency category.
