Eric Mower Inducted into ANA B2B Marketing Hall of Fame

New York, N.Y.Mower Chairman and CEO Eric Mower was inducted into the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Business-to-Business Marketing Hall of Fame during the 2019 Masters of B2B Marketing Conference in Chicago.

He was one of three inductees, the others being John Iwata, former chief marketing officer of IBM and executive fellow at the Yale School of Management, and Ann Lewnes, executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Adobe.

Paying tribute to business-to-business marketing professionals, the ANA B2B Marketing Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have elevated business marketing and moved the B2B advertising industry forward, while contributing to the future of business marketing by inspiring talent and championing development programs for the next generation.

Mower built his agency from a single office with a staff of four to one of the largest independent full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agencies in the U.S. Last year he celebrated his 50th anniversary with the firm, which has won numerous major awards for B2B campaigns for clients such as Nucor, Domtar, Charlotte Pipe & Foundry, Buckman OnSite, Freightliner Trucks, KeyBank and Sirona Dental, as well as B2B campaigns the agency created for itself. Mower joins John Favalo as the second person from the agency to be inducted into the B2B Hall of Fame.

During the Masters of B2B Marketing Conference, Mower’s firm also won a B2 Award for its “50 Days of Data” campaign that was launched as part of its rebrand that took place during its 50th anniversary celebration.

“As in the alphabet, B comes before C. So, it is not surprising that B2B marketing, which means business-to-business, and not just business-to-consumer marketing (B2C), has been an important part of our business since the early days of our agency.  Before a consumer or end-user makes a purchase, manufacturers must bring their products to market. I’m honored to be inducted into the ANA B2B Hall of Fame,” Mower said. “Some of the most memorable creative and strategic marketing campaigns we’ve developed over the years have been for B2B brands. This honor reflects the high level of collaboration between the Mower team and our clients, which results in superior work.”
