EMA’s Mary Owusu Headlines Women in Analytics Lunch at eMetrics Summit

New York, NYEric Mower + Associates’ Director of Analytics Mary Owusu will speak at the Women in Analytics lunch at the 2017 eMetrics Summit in New York City.

Taking place on October 31, the Digital Analytics Association Women in Analytics lunch will focus on how the gender-inclusive group supports gender equality in the analytics profession. Attendees will meet with fellow analysts in a roundtable discussion about issues facing women in the industry and ways the situation can be improved.

“We were initially intrigued by Mary’s background as well as her ability to articulately detail the issues women face in analytics today,” said Marilee Yorchak, executive director, Digital Analytics Association. “As the leader of EMA’s analytics division — something not every agency has yet — Mary is an excellent fit to headline the DAA Women in Analytics lunch.”

Owusu has consulted leading B2B and B2C marketers on how to leverage both analytics and search for impactful insights about their prospects and customers, and how to use those insights to gain an invaluable competitive advantage that drives revenue, market share and loyalty.

“I’m honored to headline the Digital Analytics Association Women in Analytics lunch,” said Owusu. “Many great women and men have helped to advance women in analytics, but there is still a way to go. Hopefully, sharing my story will provide inspiration and remind everyone that we are all in this together.”

In addition to serving as EMA’s director of analytics, Owusu is a professor at the Wehle School of Business at Canisius College where she teaches traditional and digital marketing to both undergraduate and MBA students. Owusu was also recently named to Buffalo Business First’s “40 under 40” list.
