EMA’s Chris Steenstra Named a Who’s Who in B-to-B Marketing

BtoB magazine has named Chris Steenstra, managing partner and co-leader of Group B2B at Eric Mower + Associates, as a business-to-business marketing leader by including her in the prestigious Who’s Who in B-to-B Special Report. Steenstra is one of only 15 executives in the industry—and one of just two women—recognized as a Who’s Who in the ad agencies category.

BtoB is the leading trade publication for b-to-b marketing strategists. The annual Who’s Who Special Report recognizes key thought leaders, movers and shakers from across the country in the marketing industry in 10 categories, including agencies.

BtoB cites Steenstra’s leadership of EMA Group B2B, which saw a 20% revenue increase last year. EMA Group B2B expanded business through new account wins and growth with existing clients including AMWINS, KeyBank, Parascript, Schick Technologies, Sun Chemical and Vendormate. EMA Group B2B developed campaigns including “Promises” for GE Energy, “Paper Because” for Domtar and “LENOX Unplugged” for LENOX Industrial Tools.

In her role at EMA, Steenstra helps lead Group B2B and EMA’s Contractor specialty group. She strategizes and oversees client integrated marketing programs, as well as manages EMA’s Syracuse office.

Steenstra is a board member for the Business Marketing Association and sits on the New York State Committee for the 4A’s (American Association of Advertising Agencies). Her honors include multiple BMA B2 Awards; multiple In-Awe Awards from the Medical Marketing Association; and Women in Business and 40 Under 40 awards, both from the Central New York Business Journal. She earned a degree from Cornell University.
