EMA Up for Two PR News Platinum Awards

Eric Mower + Associates is a finalist for two 2013 PR News Platinum PR Awards. The annual competition salutes the year’s most outstanding communications initiatives and programs across all areas of PR. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Oct. 15 at the Grand Hyatt in New York City.

EMA is up for Firm of the Year in the midsize category (annual PR billings of $10 million-$60). This category honors outstanding PR agencies that have demonstrated client growth and retention, financial growth, innovation and agency/client culture.

Agencies in the Firm of the Year category must submit a comprehensive application outlining top client campaigns, notable achievements, account wins and losses, client testimonials and community and industry initiatives. Entries are judged by a panel of corporate and agency executives, as well as PR News editors.

The campaign emphasized Kodak’s nine product launches at drupa 2012, a global trade show for the graphic communications industry, and spotlighted customers using Kodak’s solutions to produce innovative applications and grow their businesses. The global program included pre- and post-event media relations in each region, interviews with Kodak executives by more than 70 journalists from around the world, and a multilingual “K-Zone Theatre” at Kodak’s stand that featured customer interviews, panel discussions and award presentations. In addition, a drupa landing page on Kodak’s website included written and video customer case studies in various languages.

Earlier this year, EMA was honored with a bronze award in the midsize agency category of Bulldog Reporter’s Stars of PR Awards. In 2012, EMA placed #5 on Advertising Age’s Best Places to Work in Marketing and Media list, was named a PR News’ Top Places to Work in Public Relations, ranked a top 50 PR (#45) firm by PRWeek and awarded the silver Stars of PR Award in the midsize agency category from Bulldog Reporter.
