Integrated marketing communications firm Eric Mower and Associates (EMA) is ranked the top advertising agency and the top web-design/development firm in The Central New York Business Journal’s annual Book of Lists. The weekly regional business publication compiles rankings based on submissions from agencies across Central New York and the Southern Tier.
“We have our clients to thank for helping us hold these top spots. It’s our relationships with them that enable us to grow,” said Chris Steenstra, senior partner and leader of EMA Syracuse. “While it’s nice to be recognized in our local market, we extend the spotlight to our colleagues across our seven other offices, with whom we collaborate on a daily basis to produce great work for our clients.”
In December, EMA moved its Syracuse office to a new collaborative, creative space at Jefferson Clinton Commons in Armory Square. The new office layout and technology encourage collaboration among team members and professional disciplines, and across the agency’s eight offices.
EMA Syracuse is the base of operations for Pump Digital & Direct, which helps clients turn leads into customers faster, specializing in interactive, direct and relationship marketing solutions. Pump uses one-to-one marketing technology, behavioral science, and great creative to make individually tailored communications that accelerate buying behaviors and build long-term relationships.
“We have an incredible team of designers, programmers and strategists that executes savvy, meaningful web programs for EMA’s b-to-b and consumer clients,” said Andres Echenique, EMA partner and Director of Pump Services. “We strive for excellence on every project, and our work continues to grow at a steady pace. It’s nice to be recognized.”
The Syracuse office also houses EMA Group B2B, which specializes in the delivery of effective marketing communications for business-to-business clients, and a large number of the agency’s total public relations group staff.
Nationally, EMA is among the top 20 independent agencies on the East Coast and is consistently recognized among the top agencies by leading industry trade publications. Last year, EMA was named one of the top two midsize b-to-b agencies in the country by BtoB magazine; the #8 retail agency and #30 promotion agency in the nation by PROMO; #34 out of the top U.S. PR firms by PRWeek; and #61 out of the top 100 U.S. agencies by Adweek.
