EMA Named AOR for Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority

The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) has named Eric Mower and Associates as agency of record for the “Charlotte’s got a lot” marketing campaign designed to attract meeting, group and leisure travelers to this bustling North Carolina region.

“EMA is the best agency to lead us to a more fully integrated campaign with greater unity across all platforms. We especially like the agency’s advanced digital and mobile capabilities,” said Gina Sheridan, senior director of marketing and visual communication for CRVA. “EMA also has vast experience and knowledge working in the hospitality industry, specifically with destination marketing organizations, which makes them a great fit for us.”

EMA has worked with brands such as I LOVE NY, Asheville Tourism Development Authority, Biltmore Estate, The Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa, Intercontinental Hotels Group and Pinehurst Resort.

“We live and work in Charlotte, so we know what a great place it is. We can’t wait to help the CRVA promote all that this region has to offer,” said Matt Ferguson, managing partner-in-charge of EMA’s Charlotte office.

Six agencies bid for the work. EMA’s first campaign is scheduled to launch this summer.
