EMA Helps Action for a Better Community Expand Community Outreach through 2011 Annual Report

Eric Mower and Associates recently worked with Action for a Better Community (ABC) to create a sweeping new approach to the 2010-2011 ABC Annual Report. Unveiled at ABC’s 2011 Annual Meeting, the report celebrates the many accomplishments and people impacted by the nonprofit community action agency during the past year. In 2010, ABC provided comprehensive human services in housing, workforce development, education, and health services to more than 21,941 people and 4,611 families in New York State’s Monroe and Ontario counties.

To capture the powerful message of ABC’s programs and services, EMA created the strategic theme “Helping People In Need Become People Who Succeed.” EMA also took a fresh approach to the report’s design. The report is widely distributed to community leaders, faith-based organizations and government officials throughout the region.

“Working with EMA enabled our agency to effectively communicate the many successes of people who have made positive changes in their lives through ABC,” said Joanne Arany, executive director, Action for a Better Community Foundation, Inc. “The annual report helps ABC share its story in a creative and compelling way, and engage in greater dialogue with the community at large.”
