EMA Group B2B Leader John Favalo Speaks at Syracuse University on Business Marketing

John Favalo, managing partner of Group B2B at Eric Mower and Associates (EMA), will speak at Syracuse University on Monday, March 1 as part of the Whitman School of Management’s Marketing Spring Speaker Series. Favalo will discuss what makes business-to-business marketing different, as well as the opportunities that b-to-b presents.

Favalo’s presentation, “Business-to-Business — An Uncrowded Stage Awaits Your Performance,” begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Lender Auditorium, located in the concourse of the Whitman School building. The event is free and open to the public. Favalo, a Syracuse University alumnus, is also an adjunct professor at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Favalo guides the business direction and development of EMA Group B2B. He works with clients to establish competitive branding and positioning strategies; create integrated marketing communication plans; and launch new products and services. Favalo has worked with a variety of business-to-business clients including: Kodak, FedEx, Motorola, GE Energy and Newell Rubbermaid. Favalo is a past chairman of the international board of directors for the Business Marketing Association and has been named on BtoB magazine’s “Who’s Who in B-to-B” list for the past four years. He is a frequent speaker on the topics of communications, B2B branding and marketplace change.
