Eric Mower and Associates (EMA), an independent full-service marketing communications agency with offices throughout the eastern U.S., recently welcomed Erin Shampine as a Senior Engagement Manager for its Pump Digital & Direct group.
Shampine will help spearhead interactive and online projects for the Charlotte, Atlanta and Sarasota offices. Pump helps clients leverage interactive and direct marketing initiatives to nurture leads and turn inquiries into relationships faster.
Shampine brings a strong interactive marketing background to EMA. She’s served key roles on both the client and agency sides, gaining digital experience in a range of categories and with an array of brands, including: Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, MINI USA, IKEA, FedEx Kinko’s, Sallie Mae, Under Armour, Black & Decker Corp., Sylvan Learning Systems, Smithsonian Institution, Johns Hopkins University, RSM McGladrey Inc., Raycom Sports and the North Carolina Division of Tourism, Film and Sports Development.

Shampine earned her bachelor’s degree in television-radio communications, concentrating on advertising and public relations, from Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y. A native of Syracuse, she has lived in Charlotte for three years.
