At Mower, we value and encourage people—fierce people—like you. Simply because, we’re not just an agency. We are an intentionally independent community of thinkers, makers, and innovators who foster an entrepreneurial spirit and demand a diverse mindset. A place with purpose, striving to create authentic and enduring emotional connections between brands and people. A place where you can be your best, while empowering others to be theirs. Ready to find your fierceness? Talk to us today.

You no longer discern between art and copy—as you can effectively evaluate both. As a Creative Director, you’ll be judged on your ability to manage your clients, projects, and teams almost as much as the concept itself. Of course, you’ll also be expected to lead by example and inspire creativity in everything and everyone you work with—whether it’s a junior designer or account director.

You will be a vital part of Mower, adding to a culture of Fierce Friends recognized as one of “The Best Places to Work” in the US.

What you’ll do:

  • Champion creativity at all levels
  • Motivate, influence, and inspire creative teams daily
  • Manage, review, and elevate work to a creative level expected by Mower
  • Work with project managers and account managers to coordinate and assign resources
  • Attend client meetings, present work, and identify opportunities
  • Deliver on both the creative and business objectives of the client
  • Lead concept presentations, internally and externally
  • Provide written and face-to-face feedback for annual performance reviews
  • Effectively manage and execute new business pitches
  • Identify, recommend, and recruit creative talent

What you’ll need:

  • 12+ years of advertising agency experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of five or more creatives
  • Bachelor’s Degree that supports and informs your given craft
  • A portfolio that clearly demonstrates conceptual skills and craft
  • A high-level of production expertise, including photography, video, and television
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables
  • A proven track record of creative judgement and successful client contact
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with all relevant computer programs
  • An ego-free attitude and the ability to lead by example

Hey! Our name is pronounced Mōw-rrr, like this thing I’m pushing.
