Mower is a fiercely independent full-service advertising, marketing, and PR firm with offices in nine cities across the United States. We have a terrific opportunity for a part-time Media Billing Coordinator to join our team! This position will be 8 hours per day, 4 days a week and will be eligible for all benefits that are available for Mower employees.  In this role you will assist in implementation, billing, and reconciliation of media campaigns across multiple media channels. This position could lead to the development of a media or accounting career. Experienced and entry level candidates will be considered. The position is essential to the day-to-day running of media accounts and requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast paced, and detail-oriented environment.

What you will do:

  • Support the media team with new client, campaign, and vendor creation in SBMS and Advantage
  • Pull and interpret accounting and media reports to assist in hitting monthly payment and reconciliation goals across all clients (Advantage/AdAssist, SBMS)
  • Process all monthly media vendor invoicing across traditional and digital tactics (SBMS, Advantage)
  • Assist media lead with monthly client billing as needed
  • Ensure proper entries into financial systems, including reconciliations
    • Monitors broadcast makegoods on a regular basis (Eleven, SBMS, Strata)
    • Collaborates with external reps and internal accounting team/media leads to resolve payment/monthly delivery issues
    • Adjusts/reconciles digital orders based on monthly delivery reports (Advantage, Adswerve)
  • Build relationships with media partners and internal accounting team
  • Strong, direct communication skills needed; must be comfortable on the phone/video call and communicate clearly and quickly via email and IM
  • Maintain accurate, accessible, and organized documentation of monthly media payment approvals

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, marketing, communications, or related field preferred
  • Media or accounting experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication and people skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, media partners and internal teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Adaptable to change and the ability to multi-task
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing, technology-focused industry
