swissnex Boston: Media Outreach

Making a Big Splash Through Relationship Building and Media Outreach

swissnex Boston, a world-class leader in science, innovation and education, invited the world’s largest solar-powered boat, PlanetSolar, to visit the Greater Boston area. The visit of this ship offered a unique opportunity to bring together the many groups, companies, government entities and associations connected to innovation and clean technology in the region.

Mower helped swissnex develop strong relationships with key influencers throughout Massachusetts’ clean-tech, innovation and education markets. These important industry leaders came together to celebrate PlanetSolar’s mission with a culminating event that allowed them to network, collaborate and engage.

With Mower’s help in gaining strong government-level and private institution participation, including support from Boston’s Chief of Environment and Energy, Greentown Labs, Greenovate Boston, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Museum of Science Boston, MIT Energy Club, Net Impact Boston, New England Clean Energy Institute and ACTION New England, swissnex and PlanetSolar ruled the media and innovation/clean energy conversation in the region, while honoring its mission to facilitate collaborative scientific efforts.
