Social Media Strategist, Performance Marketing

As a Social Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media advertising strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, and messaging apps. You are driven to best align behaviors of the audience, their world/culture and their content preferences with an array of social media channels and technologies. You will work closely with other team members to develop campaigns that not only meet performance marketing KPI’s, but also consistently uncover audience, cultural, brand, category and media insights that inform strategic and creative thinking within our integrated marketing agency.  You are someone who works well in a team and takes pride in accelerating growth. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop brand/digital/social marketing strategies based on the client KPI’s and overarching strategy
  • Determine what type of technology and placement types are best suited to deliver on the strategy, and how they best work together
  • Determine mix of social channels to be leveraged and help the creative teams ideate tactics that align with the strategy
  • Understand how digital content moves through todays digital landscape and defines relevant and impactful engagement strategies for the client’s digital channels (including website)
  • Determine how the campaign works through 3rd party voice, such as social audience advocacy and sharing/tagging of all paid advertising placements
  • Develop custom campaign structures that develop real-time measurements relative to psychographic, demographic and cultural knowledge
  • Partner with Mower’s Insights Team and the Audience Analyst to continually refine the depth of knowledge for target personas
  • Help client and creative team identify unmet market needs and hypothesize solutions
  • Incorporate secondary research and statistics into the process to help inform targeting optimizations and campaign recommendations
  • Monitor trends in digital, social media and technology and distribute this knowledge throughout the agency
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues from a range of disciplines including Insights, Search, PR, Creative, Analytics, Production, PM and Account Management
  • Participate in client workshops, presentations, and other working sessions as required

REQUIRED

  • 4+ years’ hands-on experience executing paid social campaigns in an agency, consultancy or in-house capacity required
  • Highly proficient with Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter, & LinkedIn Campaign Manager required; Experience with Pinterest, Snapchat is a plus
  • Prior experience in paid (not organic) campaigns specific to B2B and account-based marketing (ABM) required.  B2C (specifically eCommerce) experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Office
  • Facebook Blueprint Certification preferred
