Senior Digital Strategist

Mower has a terrific opportunity for a senior digital strategist to join our team! This is a fantastic position, where you will play a key role in the digital output of the agency, including strategy and execution in collaboration within a multi-disciplinary agency team.

The individual in this role is a digital generalist and leads the creation of digital marketing strategies for a wide range of clients across B2B and B2C industries, tapping into the areas of website strategy and engagement, SEO, SEM, analytics, digital advertising, content marketing, email marketing/CRM and social media. Key areas of responsibility include:

Digital Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Provide strategic direction to Mower clients, particularly in the areas of website strategy, and general digital marketing strategy and planning
  • Facilitate digital discovery sessions with clients and colleagues
  • Develop and present proposals for digital work (e.g., website RFPs and new business pitches)
  • Champion digital work and foster relationships with agency account teams and clients every day

Learning and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Craft and socialize POV’s and conduct internal training on key topics and issues relevant to our clients
  • Sharing of thought leadership and educational content within the digital marketing landscape, both internally and with Mower clients

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years digital strategy experience in an agency, consultancy or brand marketing environment (must be a generalist in the space)
  • 3+ years website strategy and development experience in an agency, consultancy or in-house capacity (preferred)
  • Experience with proposal development and creating/presenting new business presentations
  • Comprehensive understanding of dynamic website development, and digital marketing technologies and platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to apply concepts in strategy, marketing, advertising, media and brand management
  • Demonstrated ability to define solutions that will generate measurable results for our clients
  • Database, CRM and/or marketing automation marketing experience is a plus
  • Deep and proven interest in emerging digital trends, partners, standards and processes
