EMA’s Stephanie Crockett Named to Landmark Theatre Board
08.02.2012
SYRACUSE, NY — Stephanie Crockett, management supervisor at Eric Mower + Associates, has been named to the Syracuse Landmark Theatre board of trustees.
The Landmark Theatre is Syracuse’s premier performing arts center hosting concerts, Broadway shows, private parties, weddings and other events. Originally opened in 1927 as Lowe’s State Theatre, the venue is Syracuse’s only surviving example of opulent theatres iconic of the 1920s. After closing briefly in the 1970s, the Syracuse Area Landmark Theatre group (S.A.L.T.) bought the venue and reopened it under its current name. The Landmark is on the National Register of Historic Places.
In addition to her role as board member, Crockett will serve on the major fundraising committee, where she will help to organize, prepare, and implement programs and events to raise funds for operation of the S.A.L.T. Corporation and restoration of the theatre itself. She will also devote time to the Landmark’s public relations and marketing committee.
In her role at EMA, Crockett directs the strategic planning, program development and project execution for a number of clients. With EMA since 2004, she has worked with many clients in the energy, technology, financial and healthcare sectors and currently leads EMA’s Energy Specialty group.
Her other community service work includes board chair for 40 Below Syracuse, member of the Syracuse Tomorrow Political Action Committee and marketing cabinet member for the United Way of Central New York. She has received several business awards, including the Women in Business Award, the Syracuse 40 Under 40 Award, and the Distinguished Sales & Marketing Award.
